Photography trip to Saaren kansanpuisto

Winter photography trip to Saaren kansanpuisto.  Weather was cold enough, -27 degree Celsius when arriving (by the car thermometer). Otherwise weather was nice, Sun was shining and almost no wind at all.

Because of the cold weather I was carrying minimum set of my photography equipments with me to get room for stuff need in the campfire, meaning mainly extra clothes.

I was not worry about how my camera and other equipment would work in the cold weather like this, because I had been photographing in the similar weather earlier. I was assuming that everything would work nicely.

But of course things did not work as I assume, my tripod head Manfrotto 410 Junior Geared Head adjustment mechanism froze and end up to be extremely stiff to adjust, almost unusable. All other time it has been working really well, but now no change. But anyway it worked with some extra force and I was able to make the compositions needed. I don’t have any other tripod heads currently, but let see do I buy a second one.

Otherwise the trip went well, good time at the campfire and also some photographing too.
